SBI Card, IndiGo launch co-branded credit card

Srinagar, Sep 25: SBI Card, India’s largest pure-play credit card issuer, and IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, today launched the ‘IndiGo SBI Card’ under the IndiGo BluChip loyalty programme. The premium co-branded card is available in two variants—IndiGo SBI Card and IndiGo SBI Card ELITE—designed to reward frequent travellers.

Cardholders earn rewards on all spends within IndiGo’s ecosystem, as well as on hotel and travel bookings. IndiGo SBI Card ELITE offers 7% rewards within IndiGo and 3% on hotel and travel bookings, while the standard IndiGo SBI Card gives 3% and 2% rewards, respectively. Both cards also provide rewards on other spends—2% for ELITE and 1% for the standard card.

Rewards are credited as IndiGo BluChips to the cardholder’s IndiGo BluChip account each statement cycle. They can be redeemed for flight bookings, seat upgrades, meals, hotel bookings, and services such as Fast Forward vouchers. Customers can earn up to 29,000 bonus BluChips annually.

Applications are open digitally via SBI Card SPRINT or the SBI Card website, and offline at SBI Card retail kiosks.
