Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is gearing up for a big reveal this October. The company has officially confirmed that the Oppo Find X9 series will make its debut in China on October 16, with a global rollout planned soon after. Ahead of the event, Oppo has already teased some key details, including the design, colours, performance and camera specs of the upcoming flagship lineup. Here’s a closer look at what to expect.

Oppo Find X9 Pro Design

Oppo’s teasers show the Find X9 Pro flaunting a Hasselblad-branded quad rear camera system, tucked neatly into a square camera island alongside an LED flash. The handset appears to sport a metallic frame and flat back panel, giving it a premium touch. Both the standard Find X9 and the Pro are expected to share this design language. As for colours, the Find X9 Pro is likely to be offered in Velvet Titanium and Frost White.

Oppo Find X9 Pro Specifications (Expected)

In an X post, Oppo’s Chief Product Officer Pete Lau confirmed that the Find X9 series will launch globally. Under the hood, the lineup will run on the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, paired with Oppo’s Trinity Engine for optimised performance. The phones will also be among the first to ship with ColorOS 16, rolling out a day before the launch on October 15. Interestingly, the upcoming OnePlus 15 is also expected to debut with the same software.

Leaks suggest that the Find X9 Pro will pack some serious photography hardware: a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 telephoto lens.

Oppo Find X9 Pro Price and India Launch (Expected)

While the Find X9 series is confirmed for China on October 16, the India launch is rumoured to take place between December 1–10, according to leaks. Pricing is expected to be on the premium side, with the Find X9 likely starting around Rs 69,999 and the Find X9 Pro possibly touching Rs 94,999.
