How much did you lose in how many days?

I lost 15 kgs in 12 months

What was your motivation behind weight loss?

I wanted to play with my kid with the same energy which motivated me to keep going and my wife without her could have not imagined this journey she was at every step and kept supporting me.

What was your weight loss diet (what drinks you had, did you eat fruits etc) and routine?

Home cooked food, with fruits and vegetables. started working on my portion and followed the circadian rhythm advised by my health coach. “My focus was on my nutrition, I had a balanced diet i.e. protein, fats, carbs, fibre, minerals and vitamins.

Did you completely cut-down on sugar?

Not totally. I preferred healthier sweets option like sweet fruits 1 to 2 a day, few dates and sometimes cinnamon

Did you have cheat meals? If yes, then how many times in a week? What is your go-to cheat meal?

I allowed myself a cheat meal once a month, but I kept it on the healthier side by prioritising protein first, followed by carbs, and bit of fat. Even during cheat meals, I stayed away from sweets and ice cream.

What is one rule that you abide by for losing weight?

Be active and eat balanced diet

What was one thing that worked best for you?

Homemade food and workout which includes walking outdoors

One challenge that you faced and how did you overcome it?

Temptation for an unhealthy lifestyle stems from the emotional urge to satisfy immediate desires, but my discipline and consistency helped me overcome it.

Lastly, he concluded by stating, “I want everyone to taste the secret sauce that’s called health. Exercise and nutrition counts for little, if you don’t have the correct mindset. The goal must be iron-clad, and if you want to shift a significant amount of weight like me you are going to have to make healthy choices.”
