JoySports Invitational: Skechers joins lineup for largest corporate sports event

Skechers is the latest company to sign up for the 2024 JoySports Invitational Tournament, and they’re aiming to walk away with the top prize.

The event which was launched on September 24 this year, will take place on Saturday, October 26, at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Over 15 sporting disciplines are on the agenda, including a football competition, CEOs’ penalty shootout, ladies’ penalty shootout, women’s 50m dash, men’s 100m, tug of war, sack race, swimming, 5km race walk, and table tennis.

The American footwear giant will compete against the likes of Sapholda Ventures, Peeva Beverages, Axis Pension Trust, IS Evolution Consult, Nationwide Technologies, and others, who are all vying to claim the championship title.

In addition to competing, Skechers will offer running shoes as prizes for several events, including the 5km race walk, CEOs’ penalty shootout, basketball, mixed 4x100m relay, and volleyball, among others.
