Memphis area top performers for Week 9

Offense

Ethan Johnson, CBHS: Johnson carried the ball 30 times for 228 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-14 victory over MUS.

Javon Slaton, CBHS: Slaton had 86 yards of total offense and a receiving touchdown for the Purple Wave.

Grant Troutman, Collierville: Troutman was 14-of-15 passing for 221 yards and five touchdowns in a 45-7 victory over Cordova.

Tae Walden Jr., Collierville: Walden had two receiving touchdowns for the Dragons.

Skylan Smith, Covington: Smith ran the ball 25 times for 192 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-20 victory over Haywood.

Jaheim Smith, Covington: Smith rushed for 146 yards on 20 attempts and a touchdown.

Walker Davis, Covington: Davis scored a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Chargers.

Brady Hughes, MUS: Hughes threw for 114 yards and had a rushing touchdown in a 28-14 loss to CBHS.

Kyle Sneed, MUS: Sneed caught six passes for 127 yards and a touchdown for the Owls.

Carson Cheseldine, St. Benedict: Cheseldine was 15-of-32 passing for 203 yards and a touchdown in a 28-6 loss to Ripley. He also rushed for 122 yards on 10 attempts.

Seth Dennie, St. Benedict: Dennie had 68 rushing yards for the Eagles.

Micah Brown, White Station: Brown had nine carries for 121 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-6 victory over Kingsbury.

Defense

Will Seelig, CBHS: Seelig had six solo tackles and two assists in a 28-14 win against MUS.

Tristian Euell, Collierville: Euell had six solo tackles, including three for loss, and a sack in a 45-7 win against Cordova.

Undra Williams, Cordova: Williams had six solo tackles, including one for loss, in a 45-7 loss to Collierville.

William Renovich, MUS: Renovich had four solo tackles and five assists in a 28-14 loss to CBHS.

Thomas Davis, MUS: Davis had four solo tackles and four assists for the Owls.

Nick Tuttle, St. Benedict: Tuttle had 10 total tackles, including three for loss, in a 28-6 loss to Ripley.

Jalene Robins, St. Benedict: Robins had 10 total tackles for the Eagles, including two for loss.
