Moravia football puts up 77 points against Newfield

Moravia football put up 43 points in the first quarter against Newfield on Friday en route to a 77-14 win at home.
The Blue Devils scored at least one touchdown in each quarter and held their opponent scoreless in the first, third and fourth quarter.
Dillon Palmer rushed four times for 69 yards and two touchdowns, while Noah Corbett took five carries for 57 yards and a pair of scores. Riley Jones had one attempt for a 9-yard touchdown, and added one catch for 47 yards and another score.
Eli Landis returned an interception for a touchdown and also scored off a 77-yard kickoff return. Hunter Boynton finished with 50 yards and a score on two touches.
Mason Kratzer took a 40-yard punt to the end zone, and Ethan Dehart returned a blocked punt for a score.

Palmer and Boynton each had a pick, while Corbett led the defense with 13 tackles. Jairen Francis had a team-high two sacks.
Now 4-1, Moravia is back on the gridiron Friday when it travels to Unatego.
