Reliance Retail, which is headed by Isha Ambani, daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, has introduced some of the most iconic global brands in India since the company’s inception.

In another major major move by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, the company, through its Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) subsidiary, introduced another renowned global brand in India.

EL&N London, a globally acclaimed lifestyle and café brand known for its picture-perfect settings and chic ambience, opened its first outlet in India at the Jio World Plaza, Bandra-Kurla Complex, in Mumbai on Saturday The highly- anticipated launch marks the EL&N London’s first venture into the Indian market.

“We are thrilled to open our doors at Jio World Plaza and introduce our brand to an exciting new market in partnership with Reliance Brands. This new concept brings our signature style to life in a fun and engaging way, making it the perfect destination for families, speciality coffee lovers and those looking for an unforgettable dining experience in a beautiful setting,” said EL&N London founder, Alexandra Miller.

The Mumbai café will serve EL&N’s signature menu, featuring crowd-favourites like smashed avocado toast, indulgent croissants, decadent cakes, while also introducing exclusive localized dishes tailored to Indian tastes, the brand said in a press release.

Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd which began its operations in 2007 with a mandate to launch and build global luxury and premium brands across fashion and lifestyle. Currently, RBL operates 944 stores and 1,256 shop-in-shops across India.

Reliance Retail, which is headed by Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani, has introduced some of the most iconic global brands in India since the company’s inception, such as Emporio Armani, G-Star Raw, Gas, Giorgio Armani, Hamleys, Hugo Boss, Hunkemoller, Superdry, among others.

Reliance Industries Limited is one of the largest conglomerates in India, boasting a market cap of around $210 billion (Rs 18.38 lakh crore). Its owner and chairman, Mukesh Ambani, is the richest person in Asia, and the 13th richest in the world, with a personal net worth of $106 billion, according to Forbes.
