Monday Musical Club of Portland

It’s a local organization supporting music in the Rose City. Cynthia Marberry and Gus Pappelis fromMonday Musical Club of Portland joined us to share how they bring together music-lovers to support and encourage future generations in their study of music. education.

Monday Musical Club of Portland awards thousands of dollars annually in financial assistance to outstanding young musicians in order to further their eduction. Additionally each year, Monday Musical Club contributes to the Portland Youth Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, the Community Music Center, Piano Santa, the Oregon Symphony and the Portland Opera.

Monday Musical Club members and guests enjoy monthly teas which include musical performances, often provided by our Music Award winners or performers from the organizations that receive support.
