Zeljko Pavlovic stops by Little Rock ARC to talk music, his school, and more
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Music can often be an escape from the world and a way for people to express themselves.
Zeljko Pavlovic, a Bosnian refugee, found his love for music at a young age, as he began his music education in Sarajevo, Bosnia.
His father was a successful musician who was famous across the region, and their family has a music history stretching back two hundred years.
Pavlovic fled to the U.S. during the Bosnian War and became a professional violinist, before opening his own music school here in the States.
He opened Vivaldi Music Academy and began teaching students of all agents Houston and San Antonio to play all kinds of instruments.
His academy is the largest music school in Texas and even received the 2014 National Music Academy Award.
Pavlovic is now opening a music school here in Little Rock to continue his impact on music.
He stopped by Little Rock ARC to speak more about his connection with his music, and his music school, and even play something on his violin.
