Kraemer scores twice to lift No. 4 UMD women’s hockey past MSU-Mankato

Caitlin Kraemer scored twice Friday helping the No. 4 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team to a 4-1 victory at Minnesota State University-Mankato.

The first goal for UMD came from Nina Jobst-Smith just three minutes into the game. Olivia Mobley then made it 2-0, and Kraemer’s first goal would give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead after the first. The Mavericks’ sole goal would come in the second from Sydney Langseth. Then in the third period Kraemer gave the Bulldogs back a three goal lead.

UMD netminder Ève Gascon held strong stopping 20 shots on goal. For the full box score, click here.
