Dragons women’s soccer draws with Augustana – InForum
MOORHEAD — Augustana scored 13 minutes into the second half to tie the game but a solid effort by Minnesota State Moorhead goalkeeper Quinn Carter helped the Dragons hang on for a 1-1 tie in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game on Sunday at Nemzek Soccer Field.
MSUM’s Lilly Johnson scored her second goal of the season at 5:48 on an assist from Blayke Hurley. The Dragons led 1-0 at the half.
Augustana’s Audrey Parnell scored at 58:01 on assists from Madelyn White and Sierra Barkus.
Carter stopped 15 of 16 Vikings shots on goal. Vikings goalie Taya Baker made three saves.
The Dragons are now 1-10-2 in the NSIC and 1-13-3 overall. Augustana is 8-2-3 in the NSIC and 9-4-4 overall. The Dragons finish their season at Minot State at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.
