(WARETOWN, NJ) — As autumn settles over the Pine Barrens, something devilish is stirring. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Albert Music Hall will once again call upon the spirit of South Jersey folklore with its annual Jersey Devil Show — a lively tribute to “Mother Leeds’ 13th child,” the fabled Jersey Devil said to roam the dark woods of the Pinelands.

Doors open at 5:00pm, with the show beginning at 6:00pm. The evening will feature a performance by the Jersey Devil Pipe Band, followed by a dramatic retelling of the legendary tale itself. A dynamic musical lineup will round out the night, with performances from Ryan Gregg, Acoustic Flannel, The Wedding Funeral, Elaine and the Cimarron Sky, and Billy T. Midnight.

Organizers hint that the Jersey Devil himself is likely to make an appearance — they say the mysterious creature appears to enjoy the music and the tribute held in his honor.

Admission is $6 for adults and $1 for children under 12. The venue is cash only. The Albert Music Hall stage is in a 350-seat air-conditioned concert hall. Parking is free and the Hall is wheelchair accessible.

The Pickin’ Shed and porch will be open for jamming from the time the doors open, so musicians of any experience level are encouraged to bring an instrument and join in.

The Food Booth will serve Pulled Pork, Kielbasa & Kraut, Meatballs, Cheeseburgers, and Hot Dogs, with vegan “Chik’n” patties available on request. Hot and cold beverages and a selection of desserts will also be available. Guests can enjoy a full meal — a hot sandwich, dessert, and drink — for under $10. The Gift Shop will be stocked with a variety of Albert Hall, music, and Pinelands-themed gifts. Visitors can pick up a Jersey Devil T-shirt or some of the hall’s 50th Anniversary merchandise while supplies last. A 50/50 draw will also be held during the evening. The hall is cash only.

Organizers look forward to welcoming guests for a devilishly good evening of roots music and folklore in the pines.

* The Jersey Devil Show is the first of three special themed shows in November – followed by the Veterans show on November 8th and the Homeplace Show on November 15th. Visit the Albert Music Hall website to learn about these upcoming shows including any last minute updates for this event.

Albert Music Hall is run by the Pinelands Cultural & Historical Preservation Society (PCS), an all-volunteer, non-profit-501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the preservation of the Pinelands Cultural Heritage.
