Addison Rae’s Music Career Is Off To A Strong Start Thanks To Her Breakout Single

Addison Rae found immense fame and developed a huge following on TikTok years ago. As one of the most successful personalities on the social media app, she had to find ways to turn that fan base into a group of people she could monetize, which can be tricky for people who become stars online. She’s tried her hand at acting and music, and both have gone fairly well.

The social media celebrity’s music career is growing by leaps and bounds, several years after she first began releasing songs. Rae’s breakout smash “Diet Pepsi” is on the rise on a number of charts all around the world, and this frame turned out to be huge for both the singer and her tune in the United Kingdom.

“Diet Pepsi” earns Rae her first top 10 hit on three different charts in the U.K. this period. Perhaps most importantly, the track steps up two rungs to reach the loftiest tier on the main ranking of the most-consumed songs in the country.

That cut also reaches the same position on the Official Singles Sales chart, and its rise is even more impressive on that purchase-only roster. “Diet Pepsi” rockets from No. 73 to tenth place on the tally, and as the single enters the loftiest region, it earns the social media star her first placement in that arena.

“Diet Pepsi” is performing even better on one additional ranking–one it reaches for the first time this week. Rae’s smash debuts at No. 3 on the Official Physical Singles chart. It gives the singer her first top 10, and her first appearance anywhere on the U.K.’s list of the bestselling tracks on any physical medium.

Rae’s tune is also on the rise on yet another two charts, and it manages to climb to a new peak on both of them. “Diet Pepsi” pushes forward to No. 25 on the Official Streaming list and No. 50 on the Official Singles Downloads tally this week.

As “Diet Pepsi” continues to prove that Rae may have a bright future ahead of her in the music industry, her follow-up single is off to a slow, but notable start. “Aquamarine” nearly enters the top 40 on the main singles ranking, as it launches at No. 45. That brand new cut debuts on the streaming roster at No. 94 and the Official Singles Downloads chart at No. 97.
