Calvin Klein Deepens Partnership with K-Pop Icon Jung Kook

Calvin Klein is taking its relationship with Jung Kook to the next level.

On Tuesday, the PVH-owned brand unveiled its latest denim campaign featuring the global pop star, continuing its ongoing partnership with the BTS member.

The more than 20-piece lineup revisits Calvin Klein’s ‘90s DNA with a modern edge—think darted carpenter jeans with contrast stitching, loose-fitting barrel silhouettes and a mix of puffers, trucker jackets along with the brand’s signature cotton basics like T-shirts, underwear and tank tops.

One standout piece in the collection, though, is the leather bomber jacket, which takes a central role in the campaign.

Directed and photographed by Mert Alas, the campaign captures Jung Kook cruising through New York City on a motorcycle to The Chemical Brothers’ “Block Rockin’ Beats.” The imagery will roll out across Calvin Klein’s social platforms and on large-scale out-of-home placements worldwide.

“Calvin Klein is on fire! After a series of impactful Fall moments, we cap off the season with the return of superstar Jung Kook in our iconic denim,” David Savman, global brand president at Calvin Klein, said in a LinkedIn post. “Jung Kook is one of the most popular and recognizable artists around the world, who truly embodies the Calvin Klein lifestyle – effortless, confident, empowered. This partnership reinforces our connection to culture, bringing our most emblematic jeans and essentials into the zeitgeist and reaching millions of consumers all over the globe.”

The collection retails for $22.50-$699 and is available now on CalvinKlein.com and at select retail locations.

“The energy on Calvin Klein sets is always incredible, and this shoot was no exception—I’m excited to see the campaign out in the world,” Kook said. “I know that my fans have been eagerly waiting for this return, and it feels so good to be back in the brand’s iconic denim.”

Kook first teamed with Calvin Klein in 2023 as a global ambassador, a debut that quickly went viral. He later fronted the Spring 2024 Calvin Klein Jeans campaign, wearing the brand’s core uniform of black slim jeans and a leather jacket.

“We pride ourselves on identifying globally relevant talent whose cultural impact and values align with our own,” Jonathan Bottomley, Calvin Klein’s global chief marketing officer, previously said. “Jung Kook is one of the world’s most popular artists; he possesses a rare ability to connect with international audiences through both his music and his style. We’re fortunate and excited to have him join the Calvin Klein team.”
