LAPEER — The PIX Theatre will kick off its 8-16 Experience season with a bang — literally. On Friday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m., audiences can brace themselves for dinosaurs, volcanoes and even an earthquake as the new Geo Science Show takes center stage. This high-energy, 45-minute interactive adventure is designed especially for young science enthusiasts ages 8 to 16, combining education and entertainment in one evening.
The Geo Science Show takes its audience on a journey deep into the lithosphere to uncover the secrets hidden beneath the Earth’s crust. Through hands-on demonstrations and engaging activities, participants will explore the forces that shape our planet and the prehistoric creatures that once roamed it. Audience members will learn about different types of fossils, take part in a simulated earthquake, dig for dinosaurs and even help create a volcanic eruption — bringing the wonders of geology to life right before their eyes.
This unique program blends scientific discovery with interactive fun, making complex natural phenomena accessible and exciting for young learners.
