Armani Latimer performs without wig to raise awareness for Alopecia


Armani Latimer, star of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, made an empowering statement during the Dallas Cowboys vs. Cincinnati Bengals game on Dec. 9. The 23-year-old cheerleader performed without a wig for the first time since sharing her alopecia diagnosis on the show, using the occasion to shine a light on Alopecia Awareness.
Latimer took the field at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as part of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ “My Cause My Boots” initiative, which highlights causes close to team members’ hearts. In a touching Instagram reel shared by Latimer and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the moment was celebrated with the caption: “Confidence takes center stage for Alopecia Awareness #MyCauseMyBoots | #DCCheerleaders.”
The clip shows Latimer becoming emotional as she linked arms with her fellow cheerleaders in the dressing room before the performance. “You got this, ‘Mani!” someone encouraged her, as her teammates cheered her on.
