Natick girls’ soccer

Natick solidified its No. 1 ranking in the Globe Top 20 girls’ soccer poll with its 1-0 Bay State Conference win over host Wellesley, with Abby McCauley’s first-half tally amounting to the difference.

Following a pivotal win over Notre Dame (Hingham), Norwell cracks the top five. Masconomet also moves up the ladder, using a pair of goals in the final seven minutes to pick up a key Northeastern Conference win against Danvers.

Duxbury, off to a 4-0 start with a plus-18 goal differential in Patriot League play, enters the poll for the first time. Records based on scores reported to the Globe.
