A LIMERICK tech company has announced that it has acquired a Cork-based hosting firm.

E-Live, a domain registration and web hosting business established in Limerick over 27 years ago, has announced that it has acquired Beecher Networks.

The deal was completed for an undisclosed sum, and marks what the company describes as a milestone in E-Live’s strategy for growth across Ireland.

The deal will strengthen E-Live’s market presence and enhance its portfolio by integrating Beecher Network’s range of domain registration and web hosting services, a representative for the company said.

Sean Ryan, E-Live’s managing director, said that the merger is an exciting chapter for the company.
