India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy 2025 date, venue confirmed? All you need to know
This showdown between the two arch-rivals will be part of a tournament set to return after a hiatus since 2017.
India and Pakistan are gearing up to reignite their intense rivalry as they face off in the league stage of the 2025 Champions Trophy. Pakistan is slated to host the ICC event next year, but India will not be traveling there. Instead, they will be playing their matches at a neutral venue, requiring Pakistan and other teams scheduled to play against India to travel to that location.
If India advances to the second round, they will continue to play their semi-final and final at the neutral venue. This arrangement also means that Pakistan is not guaranteed to host the final of the 2025 Champions Trophy.
According to RevSportz, the much-anticipated match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been reportedly scheduled for February 23.

The upcoming showdown between the two arch-rivals is highly anticipated as it marks the return of a tournament that has been on hiatus since 2017. Although the complete schedule has not been officially announced, reports indicate that the match will be held in either Dubai or Colombo.
Pakistan will be entering the 2025 Champions Trophy as the defending champions, having emerged victorious in a one-sided final against Virat Kohli-led India in 2017. India, who had entered the tournament as the defending champions, will be looking to reclaim the title this time around. The ICC had initially scrapped the tournament after 2017, but has decided to bring it back for the 2025 season.
Rohit Sharma has been confirmed as the captain of the Indian team for the Champions Trophy. Following his successful leadership in guiding India to their second T20 World Cup title win, the BCCI announced that Rohit would be leading the team in the upcoming ICC event.
