The world’s most expensive project is underway.
New Delhi: China is known for making unique projects in the world. Now it is building the world’s largest dam in Tibet close to the Indian border. The dam is being built on the Brahmaputra River, which is called Sengpo in Tibet.
Talking about China, its Three Gorges Dam is the largest dam in the world. This dam is so big that due to its weight, the speed of rotation of the earth has decreased. Now China is going to break the record of its own largest dam in the world by building a dam 3 times bigger than it on the Yarlung Zangbo River, at the eastern end of the Tibetan Plateau.
It is expected to take 10 years to build and cost $137 billion. It will be the most expensive project in China so far. It will also be the sixth most expensive project in the world. But the world’s most expensive project is about four and a half times more expensive than this.
It is believed that by the year 2030, a project of one trillion dollars or $ 1 trillion can be revealed. There are currently 10 megaprojects operating around the world, which cost more than $ 100 billion.
The world’s most expensive project is Europe’s Trans-European Transport Network. Its estimated cost is 600 billion dollars. Its goal is to connect the whole of Europe by modernizing Europe’s transport system.
Though continuous delay is increasing its cost. Under this project, the countries of the European Union will be connected with roads, railways, airports and water infrastructure. It is part of the wider Trans-European Networks. It also includes a telecommunications network and an energy network.

The development of the International Space Station is also estimated to cost $ 250 billion.
Kuwait’s Silk City could cost $132 billion.
China is spending $137 billion on dams.
A $100 billion project includes a high-speed rail project in California, King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and Microsoft/OpenAI data center and sub computer are among the world’s top 10 biggest and expensive projects.
