Sachin Tendulkar adds super luxurious Range Rover to his collection; check car price

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar recently added a Range Rover SV luxury SUV to his impressive car collection.

Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar continues to be a revered figure even after retirement. Apart from his cricketing prowess he is also an avid car enthusiast with a collection of high-end vehicles. With a particular fondness for the BMW brand, Tendulkar serves as the brand ambassador for BMW in India. His garage boasts an impressive array of luxury and exotic cars from various manufacturers. Recently, he was spotted at the airport unveiling his latest acquisition – a Range Rover SV luxury SUV valued at Rs 5 crore, marking his first foray into the Range Rover brand.

A video shared by Cars For You on their YouTube channel captured the moment at Mumbai airport. The footage shows Sachin Tendulkar and his wife making their way from the airport to the parking area, accompanied by airport security for a seamless departure. Sachin’s wife takes her place in the co-passenger seat of the Range Rover, while Sachin himself loads their luggage into the tailgate before taking the driver’s seat and setting off in the SUV. The model showcased is the SV PHEV version of the Range Rover, a departure from Sachin’s usual car choices.

In a departure from the traditional black, white, and emerald green Range Rover options, Sachin Tendulkar opted for a striking Sedona Red color for his new SUV. It is evident that the interior has been customized to his preferences, likely contributing to the overall cost of the vehicle.

The SV model of the Range Rover boasts luxurious captain seats, 24-way adjustable heated and cooled executive rear seats, a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens, a Meridian 3D surround sound system, and more.

This SUV is also equipped with top-of-the-line features such as ADAS, leather upholstery, electrically adjustable seats for both the front and rear, a multifunctional steering wheel, and more.

The model showcased in the video is the SV PHEV, a Plug-in Hybrid version. It is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine, combined with an electric motor to produce a total output of 542 PS. The engine is paired with an automatic transmission, distributing power to all four wheels. Sachin Tendulkar’s vehicle is valued at Rs 4.9 crore, ex-showroom.

Range Rover SUVs have garnered significant popularity among Indian celebrities. In addition to the Range Rover, Sachin Tendulkar’s car collection includes models such as the BMW M 340i, BMW 7-Series, BMW i8, BMW X5 M, Lamborghini Urus S, and several others.
