McLoughlin of Men’s Hoops Named Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week

For the second time this season, senior forward Will McLoughlin has been named the Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week after he led the Royals to a 67-61 win over King’s College on Saturday afternoon.

This marks the third career Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week award for the Glen Rock, NJ native.

McLoughlin scored a game-high 18 points while adding four rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in Saturday’s victory. He leads Scranton and ranks eighth in the Landmark Conference at 15.3 points per game while ranking fourth in the conference in rebounding at 7.2 rebounds per game and third in blocks at 1.4 blocks per game.

McLoughlin and the Royals return to action on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM against Elizabethtown College at the John Long Center in Scranton, PA.
