Among them, 60% prefer automatic hatchbacks, while 18% prefer compact SUVs.
The data released by the platform also showed a shift in the top three preferred car models in 2024. While the Renault Kwid and Hyundai Grand i10 continue to remain the favourites, the Maruti Suzuki Swift entered the top three, replacing the Baleno.
Hatchbacks continue to be the most preferred category across, reflecting a growing preference for compact, value-driven vehicles, the company added.
The compact SUV segment saw a 20% growth with the appeal of a bigger car combining space and performance rising among buyers.
The data also revealed that the average age of customers of used cars has dropped to 32 years from 34 in 2023.
“This indicates a growing reliance on financing, especially among younger buyers,” the company said.
For the platform, major cities such as Bangalore, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad remained the top contributors to the sales.
