‘Rekhachithram’ box office collections day 1: Asif Ali’s film opens with a strong Rs 2.2 crores | Malayalam Movie News

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) Asif Ali has started this year on a high note as his recently released investigative film ‘Rekhachithram’ has collected more than Rs 2 crores worldwide on day 1.

According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Rekhachithram’ has collected Rs 2.2 crores worldwide in one day and the India Net collections for the film stand at Rs 1.9 crores. The India Gross collections for the investigation film stand at Rs 2.2 crores and on day one the film has collected Rs 1.9 crores at the Malayalam Net box office.

Directed by the ‘Priest’ fame Jofin T Chacko, ‘Rekhachithram’ also has Anaswara Rajan in a lead role. The movie is getting highly positive reviews from the audiences.
Meanwhile, a new picture of Asif Ali and Mammootty is going viral for all the right reasons. Sharing a picture with Mammootty, Asif Ali penned a note that read, ““പ്രിയപെട്ട മമ്മൂട്ടി ചേട്ടന് … ഒരു ആസിഫ് അലി ചിത്രം #reakhachithram#intheatersnearyou#runningsuccessfully,” which translates to English as, “For my dearest Mammootty brother, I present this Asif Ali film.”
ETimes gave a rating of 3.5 for the film and our review reads, “Rekhachithram is a subtle and remarkably interlinked film that has been made with considerable research. It is an investigation story where a puzzle is put together from the very beginning, and it’s a rewarding watch too. There are some gripes about the ‘need’ for certain scenes and elements, but, overall, Jofin T Chacko has delivered a solid film.”
