2025 Tata Tiago, Tiago EV and Tigor Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs 5 Lakh
Ahead of the Bharat Mobility Expo, Tata Motors has launched the 2025 editions of the Tiago, Tiago EV, and Tigor in India, with significant feature upgrades. The Tiago hatchback offers five core variants: XE, XM, XT, XZ, and XZ Plus, with the rugged Tiago NRG available in the XZ trim. For those looking for more fuel-efficient options, the Tiago iCNG comes in XE, XM, XT, and XZ trims, while the NRG iCNG is available in the XZ trim. The ICE-powered Tiago starts at a competitive Rs 5 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Similar to its ICE sibling, the Tiago EV has also received significant enhancements, and is now priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Tiago, Tiago EV: What’s New?
The updated Tiago has sleek LED headlights, a shark fin antenna, a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and a revamped digital instrument cluster. The hatchback also includes a stylish two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and dual-tone seat upholstery. For enhanced safety, the Tiago now includes electronic stability control.

The Tiago EV, on the other hand, receives a redesigned grille, 14-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels, EV badges on the front doors, and new colour options such as Lime and Blue. The interior of the electrified Tiago is now enhanced with a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel and a six-way adjustable driver’s seat. The cruise control is also available in higher trims for added convenience.

The Tiago’s mechanical setup remains unchanged, with the petrol version still powered by the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine. As for the Tiago EV, it continues to offer two battery pack choices: a 19.2kWh option and a more powerful 24kWh variant.
Tata Tigor: What’s New?
Tata Motors has launched the 2025 Tigor with notable feature upgrades across its range. The sedan now starts at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XM trim, which replaces the previously available XE variant. The top-of-the-line XZ Plus Lux trim is priced at Rs 8.50 lakh, while the mid-spec XZ Plus sees a Rs 10,000 price hike, now costing Rs 7.90 lakh. The CNG variants also see new additions, with the XT base variant priced at Rs 7.70 lakh and the XZ Plus Lux CNG at Rs 9.50 lakh. These are ex-showroom prices.

The updated sedan now has a fully digital instrument cluster, a lighted smart steering wheel, and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard from the entry-level trim. In the top-spec models, you’ll find a 360-degree camera, a 10.25-inch floating infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and a luxurious leather-wrapped steering wheel. The sedan also gets a host of stylish additions, including LED taillamps, a shark fin antenna, and premium cloth seat upholstery.

The Tigor continues to feature the familiar 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, with the added option of a factory-fitted CNG variant.

Both the petrol and CNG models come with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT, although the AMT is not offered on the entry-level trims of either powertrain.
