Fashion designer Rian Fernandez joins Miss Universe India 2024 selection committee

Filipino designer Rian Fernandez has been named to the Miss Universe India 2024 selection committee, the organization announced.

Fernandez, known for his elegant designs, has dressed local celebrities and beauty queens, including Carla Abellana, Sharon Cuneta, and Miss World Philippines titleholders. He has also created custom gowns for international beauty queens, including Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel and Miss Universe Thailand 2024 Opal Suchata.

Recognized with awards such as the Designer of the Year at the Indrajark International Awards and the New York Fashion Award, Fernandez recently unveiled his latest collection at the Global Fashion Festival 2024 in India.

The Miss Universe India 2024 coronation night will be held on Sept. 22 in Jaipur, with Filipino actor Lance Raymundo serving as host.
