Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Upcoming VinFast Electric Cars
Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: As previously reported, Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast is gearing up to make a grand debut in India at the much-anticipated auto expo. The company has now officially confirmed that its VF 7 e-SUV will be showcased at its pavilion. In addition to the VF 7, the VF 8 and VF 9 electric SUVs are also expected to be on display. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, one of the most significant events in the mobility sector, will run from January 17-22, 2025, across three prime locations in the Delhi NCR region: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. With the event approaching, let’s take a closer look at the impressive key specifications of VinFast’s upcoming EVs in India.
VinFast VF 7
Globally, the VF 7 e-SUV is offered in two trims: Eco and Plus. The Eco variant utilizes a single front-mounted motor, generating a maximum power of 201bhp and a peak torque of 310Nm. The Plus variant, on the other hand, is powered by dual motors with all-wheel drive, delivering 348bhp and 500Nm. These versions are equipped with a 75.3kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 450 kilometres on a single charge.

It is yet to be confirmed which variant will be launched in India, but the anticipated starting price for the VF 7 is expected to be around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
VinFast VF 3
The VinFast VF 3, a small, city-friendly electric SUV, has an 18.64 kWh battery, and a range of up to 215 kilometres. The SUV is powered by a single rear-mounted electric motor delivering 43bhp and 110Nm, ensuring a nimble and responsive drive for urban environments. Thanks to its fast-charging capability, the VF 3 can recharge from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes, minimising downtime and providing convenience for busy schedules.
VinFast VF 8
The VF 8 also has two variants (Eco and Plus), but it is powered by an 87.7kWh battery pack, offering an impressive claimed range of 412 kilometres. The model has dual motors and all-wheel drive, ensuring robust performance. The Eco variant delivers 349bhp and 500Nm, while the Plus variant ups the torque to 620Nm for enhanced power. With its quick acceleration, the VF 8 can go from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.6 seconds.
VinFast VF 9
The VF 9 is equipped with a powerful 123kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of 531 kilometres on a single charge.

Both the Eco and Plus variants come with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, generating a peak power output of 402bhp and a maximum torque of 620Nm. The car sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 6.6 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 200km/h.
