India’s Mobility Future Unveiled: Sustainability Meets Innovation at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 – Asia Pacific
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is ready to kickstart with a bang, set to be held from January 17-22, 2025, across three major venues: Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi (IICC) Dwarka, and India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the biggest auto event like last year. The previous auto show was also inaugurated by the PM in 2024 and this year as well his attendance at the event will make it even more significant.
Bharat Mobility is being led by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and is going to be a landmark event in the mobility sector. This expo, building on the resounding success of its 2024 edition, promises to be India’s largest and most comprehensive event dedicated to the global mobility sector, showcasing the latest advancements in mobility solutions.
The major focus will be on sustainable and innovative technologies like advanced batteries, battery manufacturing, battery components, recycling & circular economy, charging infra, battery swapping, etc.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is expected to attract over 1500 exhibitors and 5,00,000 visitors from more than 50 countries. The event will also feature sectoral sessions, business forums, and startup showcases, providing ample opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, and exploring new business opportunities.
Divided into different pavilions, Bharat Mandapam will be hosting six major events namely, India Cycle Show 2025, Steel Pavilion, Mobility Tech Pavilion, Bharat Battery Show, Auto Expo-The Motor Show 2025, and India International Tyre Show 2025, with each pavilion offering unique insights into their respective industries.
The India Cycle Show 2025, organized by EEPC India, will start from January 17 to 22, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam. This dedicated event for the bicycle community will showcase the latest models, accessories, and innovations in the cycling world. From high-performance bicycles to sustainable and eco-friendly designs, this show will cater to cycling enthusiasts, manufacturers, and stakeholders aiming to revolutionize personal mobility and promote a healthier lifestyle.
Simultaneously, the Steel Pavilion, organized by the Indian Steel Association, will also take place from January 17 to 22, 2025. This pavilion will focus on cutting-edge innovations in automotive steel, emphasizing sustainability, strength, and lightweight solutions. Visitors can explore how advancements in steel technology are shaping the automotive industry with environmentally friendly and performance-driven materials.
The Mobility Tech Pavilion, hosted by NASSCOM, will also be held from January 17 to 22, 2025, as part of the expo. This pavilion will feature the latest advancements in connected vehicles, autonomous driving technologies, and smart transportation systems. As the world moves towards intelligent mobility solutions, this showcase will provide a glimpse into the future of transportation powered by innovation and technology.
Another key attraction of the event is the Auto Expo-The Motor Show 2025, which will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from January 17 to 22, 2025. Organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) in collaboration with the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), this show will feature cutting-edge vehicles, futuristic concepts, and technological innovations from global automobile manufacturers.
The India International Tyre Show 2025, is another major event that is taking place at Bharat Mandapam during the same dates, and is organized by the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA). This specialized showcase will focus on advancements in tyre technology, including innovations in smart tyres, the use of sustainable materials, and improved safety features for modern vehicles.
The second edition of the Bharat Battery Show (as part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025) is another major show happening at the same location that will see participation of companies from various countries including the USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and China. A delegation from Singapore will be visiting the global expo to explore Indian market opportunities.
IESA has been entrusted with the organization of the Battery Tech Pavilion, Recycling Pavilion, and Charging Infra Pavilion under the umbrella of Bharat Battery Show. Bharat Battery Show will be part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and will be organized at the central Delhi venue Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 19th to 21st January 2025.
With 40 GWh + ACC PLI and 100 GWh + beyond PLI, India is expected to witness 140+ GWh ACC Batteries manufacturing capacity by 2030. Some of the leading Battery ecosystem players like AMARARAJA, LivGuard, Nash Energy, Replus Engitech, Epsilon Advanced Materials, PCBL, Trontek, Neuron Energy, Battrix, EMO Energy, Phoenix Contact, Amphenol, Munters, Hioki, Maestrotech, SEMCO, Vecmocon and charging infra players like Statiq, Lubi Charging, Tata Power charging, SCharge, KAZAM, BOLT EARTH, Mindra EV, Chogori, Tirex Chargers will be showcasing their innovative products and solutions during the show.
On the other hand, the Urban Mobility & Infrastructure Show (UMIS) will be hosted at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from January 19 to 22, 2025. This event will be organized under EEPC India and India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML) and will spotlight sustainable and efficient urban transportation systems, infrastructure innovations, and futuristic solutions for urban mobility challenges.
The Bharat Construction Equipment Show, organized by the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA) in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), will be held from January 19 to 22, 2025, at the India Expo Centre & Mart. This event will offer a comprehensive showcase of construction equipment, machinery, and advanced technologies that are transforming infrastructure development and building smarter cities.
Additionally, Auto Expo-The Components Show 2025 will be hosted from January 18 to 21, 2025, at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi. Jointly organized by the ACMA Mobility Foundation (AMF), CII, and SIAM, this show will feature a wide range of automotive parts and components, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and EV technologies. Special pavilions dedicated to emerging sectors like start-ups, batteries, infotainment, and garage equipment will also be a highlight of the exhibition.
