Yamaha marks four decades in India at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
India Yamaha Motor (IYM) is participating in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, being held from January 17 to 22. The event marks Yamaha’s four decades in India and highlights its contributions to the premium two-wheeler segment. The pavilion’s theme, “Aspirations Unveiled,” focuses on combining Yamaha’s heritage with its forward-looking goals.
A central feature of Yamaha’s pavilion is its legacy showcase, which includes iconic motorcycles like the RX-100 and RD-350, as well as first-generation models of the YZF-R15 and FZ series. The ‘History Arena’ highlights Yamaha’s journey, including milestones from its global and Indian operations. Visitors can explore Yamaha’s history, beginning with the formation of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. in 1955 and its entry into the Indian market, which has reshaped motorcycling culture over four decades.
Yamaha’s MotoGP machine, the YZR-M1, is on display, showcasing Yamaha’s achievements in racing, including over 500 podium finishes. The display includes authentic MotoGP gear from Fabio Quartararo and Alex Reins, featuring their racing suits, helmets, and gloves.
The Y/AI Concept Motorcycle, a blend of AI technology and innovative design, is a key attraction. Featured in the sci-fi anime “Tokyo Override,” the concept envisions a future where AI is integral to urban mobility. Inspired by the YZR-M1, it demonstrates Yamaha’s direction in futuristic transportation.
Adventure Motorcycles
Yamaha is displaying the Lander 250 and the Tenere 700, emphasizing adventure and exploration. The Lander 250, a dual-purpose bike, is suitable for off-road and urban rides. The Tenere 700, designed for challenging terrains, showcases reliability and durability.
R-Series Motorcycles
The R15, R3, and R7 models from Yamaha’s R-Series highlight the brand’s focus on performance and innovation. These motorcycles are designed to enhance riding skills and deliver high-speed thrills.
MT Series
The MT-15, MT-03, and MT-09 from Yamaha’s MT Series represent the “Dark Side of Japan” theme. These models feature torque-rich engines, agile handling, and bold designs, offering an engaging riding experience.
Yamaha’s First Hybrid Motorcycle
Yamaha unveiled the 2025 FZ-S Fi DLX, its first hybrid motorcycle in India. Equipped with Smart Motor Generator technology and hybrid functionality, the FZ-S Fi DLX provides a quiet and smooth engine experience. Features include a Color TFT instrument cluster with Turn-by-Turn navigation and integrated turn signals.
Hybrid Mobility Zone
The Hybrid Zone features Yamaha’s 125cc FI Blue Core Engine and hybrid scooters such as the RayZR, Fascino, and Filano. These scooters prioritize fuel efficiency and torque, highlighting Yamaha’s approach to urban mobility.
Performance Scooters
The Aerox 155 Version S and N-MAX scooters are also displayed, targeting young riders with their sporty design and engineering. These models offer agility, handling, and responsive braking for urban commuting and weekend rides.
The pavilion includes a customer engagement zone with MotoGP gaming, Yamaha accessories, and a tilt-bike experience with the R15. Visitors can explore the Monster Energy stall and participate in activities at the exclusive 40-year zone.
