Rihanna Hits Her High-Low Dressing Stride in Louis Vuitton and Uggs for a Trip to Target

Rihanna is a deft hand at fashion-forward casuals—pyjamas as outerwear, fuzzy hats, borrowed items from A$AP Rocky’s wardrobe. And as previously seen, she knows how to make a late-night shopping run for essentials cool.

The musician was photographed in New York heading to Target late on January 17, wearing an oversized black hoodie and matching sweatpants. She carried a Louis Vuitton 57th Street NYC exclusive version of the Speedy Soft 30 bag, which comes complete with its own cutesy bag charms (no need for Rih to DIY this ongoing trend), and wore Prada glasses. On her feet, Rihanna defaulted to her fave fuzzy outdoorsy slippers of choice, UGGs, choosing a pair of the Tazettes in black (she’s also a fan of UGG’s Palace collab shoe, the colorful Tasman). She wore her hair long in braids, and went makeup free for the quick casual trip. It was an effortless high-low dressing moment.

For the “Diamonds” singer’s last trip to Target, she wore a vintage, tricolor brown Oscar De La Renta floppy fur hat, a vintage Biggie and Tupac t-shirt, baggie jeans, and Bottega Veneta Haddock boots beloved by Rocky. It was a look she carried through to a karaoke night with the girls. This time, it looks like Rih was keeping her plans strictly to Target and chill.
