Dutch woman confronts man secretly taking her photos on Delhi-Agra train; this is what happened next
A Dutch travel influencer, with the user name ‘@avocadoontheroad’, recently faced harassment while traveling by train from New Delhi to Agra. In the video posted by her, she shared that a young man repeatedly took selfies with her without permission and even began secretly recording her, making her feel extremely uncomfortable. The video has gone viral, with netizens criticizing the man for maligning the image of the country.
The video starts with the woman informing that she is traveling via train in India, then panning the camera to the person she informs, “This annoying guy is taking pictures of me and being annoying all the time in a very rude way. So, I was thinking to do the same.” She further adds, “If you have a d******d next to you, just do the same. Put the camera to his face.” However, the man shamelessly poses for the camera and even does a victory sign.
In the caption of the video, she explains, “I got into the train extremely tired hoping for some rest, but the man sitting next to me was constantly talking to me and taking secret pictures of me. I minded my own business, tried to look from the window, but he was constantly looking at me and even what I am doing at my phone.”

She added, “Very bad vibe and I did not feel comfortable to rest at all. He didn’t stop even after I asked him to, so I made a video of my own. I hoped he will understand as he spoke some English, but I think he was just too much into himself that he didn’t even pay attention to what I am saying”.
Netizens slammed the man in the comment section. One user wrote, “Hey, I am sorry for this experience. Apparently, this is very common behavior towards foreigners. Next time, please ask the TT to change their seat and do not hesitate to make a scene. Most of the crowd will certainly help you.” Another wrote, “SORRY you had to go through this. Some people are like him, but not all Indians are like that.”

The video received about 5 million views. She later updated her caption and thanked everyone who supported her in the comment section. She even claimed that incidents like this won’t change the perception of India. She wrote, “I love India very much and this experience is definitely not gonna stop me exploring this beautiful country. I made many local friends along a way already and I am grateful for that. So thank you for all the kindness and hospitality you guys in India offer.”
