Kranson of No. 3 Women’s Basketball Earns Third Landmark Athlete of the Week Award

Junior Kaci Kranson of The University of Scranton women’s basketball team has been selected as the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for the third time this season as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
This is Kranson’s seventh Landmark Athlete of the Week award in her career.
In Scranton’s decisive win against Drew University on Wednesday, Kranson led the team in points with 29, including nine points from three-point range. On Saturday, Kranson scored a game-high 25 points and added eight boards to lead the Lady Royals to a 106-53 victory over Goucher College.
In Kranson’s last three games she has scored 25 points or more as well as four or more steals. The Scranton, PA native ranks first in the Landmark in scoring at 18.5 PPG, scoring a total of 352 points, and is third in field goal percentage at .475.
Kranson and the Lady Royals will head to Wilkes University for Landmark Conference action against the Colonels Wednesday night at 6:00 PM.
