Silent on Michael Jordan’s Concerning Photos, Ex-Wife Juanita Spotted at Chicago Football Classic With Her Clan

The Chicago Bulls and her ex-husband aren’t the only things connecting Juanita Vanoy to Chi-Town. This is the city she was born and raised in, went to school, met her future husband, and raised her kids in. And Vanoy keeps her connection with her home thriving. This time it was football that drew her to Soldier Field Stadium. While Vanoy soaked in the Chicago Football Classic, her ex created a social media frenzy. Michael Jordan was across the pond also enjoying soccer (the European football). Pictures say a thousand words but the image of Jordan at this game made a thousand theories on his health.

Unaffected by the frenzy, Juanita Vanoy was enjoying one of the annual traditions of Windy City’s sports-lovers. For 26 years HBCUs have gathered for the Chicago Football Classic annually. The games raise funds for scholarships and also draw potential football prospects to HBCUs. In 2024, the Morehouse College Tigers and Kentucky State University Thorobreds met for the Chicago Football Classic on Saturday for a good cause. The Tigers came on top of this one.

Vanoy was at Soldier Field and hung around with some other Chicago stalwarts. Some of them were music legend, George Daniels, former Colorado basketball standout Javon Coney, as well Chi-Town business titans, Linda Johnson Rice and Lester Coney. celebrity makeup guru, George Robert Fuller, longtime Chicago news anchor, Robin Robinson, jazz artist Morris Gearring, and a few others.

She had to rightfully flex her hometown connections on her Stories. Juanita Vanoy was born in Chicago and grew up in the South Side. She played basketball at Fenger Academy High School and went to a local college. Vanoy met Michael Jordan shortly after he signed with the Bulls and their three eldest children grew up in the city.

Apart from her ex-husband’s glorious run with the Bulls, Vanoy has been a vocal supporter of the city’s sports scenes. She’s been an Instagram user for a year but she’d been spotted at local events before that. And her sightings don’t create the kind of frenzy her ex-husband did this month.

Michael Jordan stays mum on concerns

Michael Jordan was enjoying the Champions League game in Monaco against Barcelona peacefully not anticipating the chaos he was going to cause. Close-up pictures of Jordan surfaced with his eyes looking prominently yellow and glassy.

With no explanation from the NBA legend himself, fans speculated about his health on their own. From liver disease to jaundice, aging and even the weather, everything was thrown online. It’s giving deja vu from 2020 when The Last Dance premiered. Jordan’s yellowed sclera in all the current interviews was concerning everyone then too.

In 2020 and 2024, Jordan nor his reps have commented on the drama. Not surprising. He’s private and his health is an even more private subject.

However, Juanita Vanoy and their kids aren’t getting into the subject either. They’re going about life with regular updates of their own. Despite comments under their social media prodding for a response. Regardless, all signs indicate they’re going to let this fade out on its own.
