Aprilia Tuono 457 coming soon: Patent filed in India – Bike News
The new Tuono 457 will compete against the KTM 390 Duke and the Yamaha MT-03.
There have been a series of leaks regarding the Aprilia Tuono 457, and it’s now confirmed that the company has filed a patent for the bike in India. The Tuono 457 is a naked motorcycle designed to be more road-friendly compared to its sportier counterpart, the RS 457. Here’s everything we know so far about the new Tuono 457.
Aprilia Tuono 457: Hardware
The Tuono 457 sports a triple LED headlight setup with LED DRLs. It is equipped with ByBre callipers, a 320mm front disc brake, and a 220mm rear disc brake. The motorcycle also comes with Bosch dual-channel ABS. The suspension consists of 41mm upside-down front forks with 120mm of travel, while the rear shock provides 130mm of travel.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 rides on 17-inch wheels, featuring 110/70 tyres at the front and 150/60 tyres at the rear. It boasts a 5-inch colour TFT display. Designed for city riding, it offers a wide handlebar and a slightly aggressive stance. The bike will be available in two colour options: a white and grey combination, or a red and black mix.

Aprilia Tuono 457: Engine
The Tuono 457 is powered by a 457 cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers up to 47 bhp at 9400 rpm. It is equipped with features like Ride by Wire, three Riding Modes and three levels of traction control. The new Tuono 457 will compete against the KTM 390 Duke and the Yamaha MT-03.
