Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ Breaks Apple Music Record
Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U has officially set a new Apple Music record.
According to Billboard, the 21-track album now holds the record for the biggest R&B/soul album in the history of Apple Music by first-day streams worldwide. No additional details, such as the total number of streams, were provided, but Billboard has reached out to Apple Music.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U released on Valentine’s Day, and is The Boy’s first full-length effort since For All the Dogs in 2023 and his publicized beef against Kendrick Lamar; it’s also PND’s first since P4 in 2024. It featured guest appearances from Pim, Chino Pacas and Yebba as well as production work from some of the pair’s frequent collaborators, including Noel Cadastre, Gordo and Jordan Ullman.
