Ex-Ford India MD, Anurag Mehrotra, joins JSW MG Motor India – Express Mobility News

JSW MG Motor India has announced the appointment of Anurag Mehrotra as its new Managing Director. With nearly three decades of experience in the automotive industry, Anurag has held key leadership roles in sales, marketing, strategy, and business development across prominent national and global companies.

Prior to joining JSW MG Motor India, he served as Vice President of Strategy & International Business at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles and was previously the President & Managing Director of Ford India. Based in Gurugram, Anurag will spearhead the company’s strategic growth initiatives while strengthening its four brand pillars: diversity, experience, innovation, and community.

Rajeev Chaba, who played a pivotal role in establishing MG in India, has been instrumental in shaping the brand into one of the country’s leading automotive players. Under his leadership, MG set benchmarks for innovation and disruption in the market, launching cutting-edge products ahead of their time. 

A strong advocate of philanthropy, diversity, and transparency, Rajeev is known for his authentic leadership style and direct engagement with stakeholders. He will continue to support the company as a member of the Joint Steering Committee, advising management and shareholders.
