Frank Ocean can almost always be found on charts all around the world, even though he hasn’t released new music in many years. Sometimes it seems like fans are focusing on one of his albums, while in other instances, one tune or another appear to be the more popular. In the United Kingdom this week, it looks like longtime supporters of the R&B superstar are interested in both. One of Ocean’s two proper albums climbs on multiple tallies, as a pair of his most successful tracks also reappear on the same list together.
Both “White Ferrari” and “Pink + White” reappear on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart this week. The tunes are top 40 smashes once again on the U.K.’s list of the bestselling tracks in any of those genres throughout the nation.
Between the two, “White Ferrari” is the higher rising hit, at least this moment. This frame, it comes in at No. 35, while “Pink + White” appears just three spaces further south on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles roster.
“White Ferrari” may be the bigger win in this moment, but between the two, “Pink + White” has peaked higher and spent more time on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. That latter cut rose all the way to No. 10 and has now racked up 84 stays somewhere on the genre-specific tally. “White Ferrari,” meanwhile, only climbed to No. 20, and it reaches its milestone tenth turn somewhere on the list.
As fans of Ocean continue to buy those two tracks, his album Blonde is climbing on multiple rankings as well. The most recent release from the Grammy winner jumps nine spaces on the Official Albums Streaming chart, to No. 51. It improves as well on the main list of the 100 most-consumed projects throughout the nation, but only by three rungs, to No. 69.
Channel Orange, Ocean’s debut project, which made him a superstar, appears on three charts in the U.K.–one more than Blonde, though it’s not performing as well. The early offering from the R&B musician descends on all three of the lists it can be found on, including the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, where Blonde does not currently find a home.
