Thailand’s cultural capital just got a designer makeover with the launch of an ultra-exclusive travel guide that promises to put Bangkok on the opulent itinerary.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has teamed up with luxury powerhouse Louis Vuitton to unveil the much-anticipated Louis Vuitton City Guide Bangkok 2025.

The launch event, held on Tuesday, February 18, at the Maison de Famille de Louis Vuitton in Asnières-sur-Seine, France, was a glamorous affair that cemented Bangkok’s place in the annals of luxury travel.

This latest addition to the renowned Louis Vuitton City Guide collection offers a refined view of Bangkok, capturing the city’s unique fusion of luxury, culture, and modern zest.

Attendees at the prestigious event, which included top travel executives, airline reps, and tourism influencers, were treated to an exclusive evening in Louis Vuitton’s historic family home, showcasing the brand’s legendary craftsmanship and legacy.

Since its inception in 1998, the Louis Vuitton City Guide series has set the gold standard for premium travel, curating top-tier experiences across the globe’s most dazzling destinations.

The Bangkok 2025 edition dives deep into the heartbeat of the city, highlighting everything from its iconic landmarks and Michelin-starred dining scenes to its chic shopping districts and luxury hotels effortlessly blending modernity and Thai tradition.

“We are thrilled about this collaboration,” said TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool.

“This partnership is pivotal for the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. Aligning with Louis Vuitton reinforces Thailand as a go-to destination for discerning travellers seeking exclusive, culturally rich experiences.”

The launch theme, 5 Must-Do in Thailand, invites globe-trotters to explore Bangkok through five curated adventures: must-see landmarks, must-seek hidden cultural sites, must-try unique experiences, must-taste Thai gastronomy, and must-buy artisanal crafts.

Guests basked in Thailand’s vibrant artistic and cultural tapestry through live showcases and performances, from traditional Thai dances and Khon performances to intricate palm leaf weaving and handcrafted souvenirs.

The French market alone saw 720,806 visitors, a testament to the nation’s enduring charm to European explorers.
