His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and a leading figure in the country’s sports arena, has issued Decision No. (1) of December 2025. This move appoints new board members for the upcoming term, signaling a strategic refresh of leadership.

New Roles Defined

As part of the restructuring, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa has been named Vice President of the Board in accordance with the committee’s governance framework. In addition, Decision No. (2) of 2025 endorses the appointment of Shaikha Dr Al-Majmoua bint Khalifa as a board member, highlighting the committee’s commitment to inclusivity and strong leadership.
