Cedric Bovon named head coach of Pronghorns Women’s Soccer

“I am incredibly excited to assume this leadership role within the U SPORTS environment, particularly as it offers the chance to impact the team both on the pitch and individually,” says Bovon. “I am passionate about nurturing an environment where both team and individual growth are prioritized, empowering each player to reach their full potential, both in the game and for their professional futures.”

Spencer Pommells, Director of Athletics for Pronghorn Athletics and Recreation, says Bovon is an excellent fit for the women’s soccer team.

“His experience, leadership and emphasis on collaboration and teamwork align with the values of Pronghorn Athletics. We are confident that Cedric will help take the program to new heights and continue to foster a strong, inclusive team culture,” says Pommells.

Bovon is not the only new addition to the Pronghorns’ leadership group as Dean Spriddle was recently appointed head coach of the university’s golf program.
