Delhi Weather: People are suffering due to heat in Delhi, when will there be rain to bring relief; situation till 30 September

Delhi Weather: Due to bright sunshine throughout the day, the temperature of Delhi has increased. On Monday, the maximum temperature at Delhi’s standard observatory Safdarjung was three degrees above normal. Due to this, people had to face humid heat. The relief is that after Tuesday, there is a possibility of light rain intermittently in the next four days. Due to this, the temperature is likely to fall by up to four degrees.

The minimum temperature in Delhi on Monday was recorded at 24.9 degrees Celsius, which is one degree more than the average temperature of this season. The humidity in Delhi was recorded at 57 percent at 5.30 pm. The Meteorological Department has forecast partly cloudy weather on Tuesday and the maximum temperature is likely to be 37 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.

There has been an increase in pollutant particles as compared to earlier. On Monday, Delhi’s average air quality index was 167. It is placed in the moderate category.

How will the weather be in the next seven days

According to the weather department forecast, the sky will be clear on Tuesday but there may be light rain. On Wednesday, there will be movement of clouds in the sky and light drizzle is possible. There may be light rain in the capital on Thursday. On Friday, the sky will be cloudy due to which the weather will be pleasant. There are also chances of light rain during this time. There will be clouds on the weekend i.e. Saturday and Sunday. Due to which people will feel less heat. After this, the sky may remain completely clear on Monday.

Winter action plan will come soon

To tackle the deteriorating air quality, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced that the Delhi government will release its 21-point winter action plan against pollution on September 25. The plan will focus on real-time data, action on pollution hotspots, coordination with neighbouring states and steps like curbing stubble burning.
