A finance website is offering people $1,000 to watch all of the Fast & Furious films

A website dedicated to helping people make sound financial decisions is offering to pay people to stay at home and watch action movies.

The website Financebuzz is offering to pay anyone in the United States to watch all 10 Fast & Furious films for $1,000. The films include “Fast X,” which comes out May 19.

On top of the $1,000, they will provide $100 to cover the cost of any streaming fees and movie tickets. The selected candidate will have two weeks to binge-watch all the films.

According to the website, the person they select will be called a Fast & Furious Claims Adjuster, tasked with tracking damages from all the car crashes in each film.

“Our team will use your findings to estimate the insurance impact of the franchise’s reckless driving,” the website reads.

Apparently, Financebuzz wants to know how much the reckless driving in the Fast & Furious films would impact one’s auto insurance. They also wonder if the number of wrecks in the movies increased or decreased over the franchise’s history for an upcoming FinanceBuzz story.

The job makes sense for a Houstonian, as data suggests Houston’s roads and drivers are among the country’s deadliest.

Applications for the job are due by 10:59 p.m. May 19. The candidate will be selected by May 26 and contacted via email.
