ADTD to host tourism promotion roadshow across Indian cities

Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) is set to launch a new roadshow in India, led by His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Department. Running from September 15–19, the roadshow will cover major Indian cities including New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata.

This initiative has reflected ADTD’s ongoing commitment to expanding its global presence and exploring fresh tourism markets. The program seeks to foster collaborations with international operators and industry leaders, while also establishing agreements that encourage knowledge exchange and sustainable growth in the tourism sector.

During the roadshow, ADTD has presented Ajman’s latest tourism projects and attractions, reinforcing the emirate’s reputation as a globally competitive destination.

His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi stated that, “Through this promotional roadshow, we seek to reaffirm our commitment to opening new opportunities for regional and international cooperation, while strengthening Ajman’s position as a leading tourist destination.”

“This initiative aligns with Ajman’s continuous development in the tourism and leisure sectors, led by a comprehensive strategic vision to advance every aspect of the tourism industry, in line with the Government of Ajman’s goals and future plans,” Alhashmi added.

HE Alhashmi noted that, “In addition, we look forward to forging robust strategic ties with our key partners in the Indian tourism sector, further boosting opportunities for knowledge and expertise exchange, and unlocking new avenues for sustainable tourism and economic development in the emirate.”

The program will reach New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata on September 15, 17, and 19, where meetings and presentations will emphasize Ajman’s tourism strengths and potential partnerships.

Each stop of the roadshow has included official meetings, presentations, and networking events to highlight Ajman’s diverse offerings. The effort has aimed to boost international visitor numbers, support hotel revenues, and strengthen Ajman’s contribution to the wider UAE tourism economy.
