Aggie Soccer’s Noble Lands SEC Player of the Week Recognition – WTAW

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

Texas A&M forward Kaylee Noble earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week distinction, the league announced Monday.

Noble was recognized for her thrilling performance in the Sunday’s 7-1 victory over the Lafayette Leopards. The junior tallied seven points, registering three goals and an assist in 46 minutes. She scored her first goal in the 14th minute, added another in the 23rd as A&M took a 4-1 lead into the intermission. Noble assisted on the Aggies’ first goal of the second half and nailed down the hat trick in the 55th minute.

The hat trick was the first by an Aggie since Jazmine Wilkinson scored three goals at Tennessee on Oct. 22, 2023. It was the first Texas A&M hatter on Ellis Field since Haley Pounds did the deed against Rice on Aug. 21, 2016.

This season, Noble has eight points on three goals and two assists. She has played in all five A&M matches, including three starts.

Noble arrived at Texas A&M in May after two seasons at Cal State Fullerton. With the Titans, Noble appeared in 40 matches, including 25 starts. She racked up 25 points on 10 goals and five assists. Last season, Noble logged 15 points on six goals and assist to earn All-Big West First Team and United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Third Team.

The Aggies return to action Thursday when they travel to Nacogdoches for a 7 p.m. contest against Stephen F. Austin.
