Agricultural leaders gather in Punta Cana to discuss export strategies
Punta Cana.- The Dominican Agribusiness Board (JAD) will host the 27th National Meeting of Agricultural Sector Leaders from Wednesday, September 3, to Friday, September 5, at the Barceló Bávaro Convention Center in Punta Cana. This year’s forum will focus on “Challenges for 2036: Institutional Strategies for the Expansion of Agrifood Exports from the Dominican Republic.”
National and international experts will address the country’s opportunities and challenges in consolidating and growing its international agricultural trade. Since its inception, the National Leaders’ Meeting has served as a platform for strategic dialogue, consensus-building, and alliances among public and private stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
The event allows participants to identify priorities and develop institutional strategies aimed at fostering a modern, resilient, and globally competitive agribusiness sector. It brings together representatives from all productive subsectors, government authorities, academics, technicians, and other stakeholders, reinforcing a shared vision for sustainable development aligned with international trade demands.
