OSUS Group appoints Ahmed Al-Qahtani as Chief Executive OfficerOSUS Group has announced the appointment of Mr. Ahmed Al-Qahtani as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy and leadership journey.

Mr. Al-Qahtani brings with him nearly two decades of experience in investment management, business transformation, and strategic planning. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer for regional markets at Hassana Investment Company, the investment arm of the General Organisation for Social Insurance (GOSI), where he played a key role in overseeing multi-asset portfolios and leading high-profile transactions.

Throughout his career, Mr. Al-Qahtani has successfully led major mergers and acquisitions, complex partnerships, and strategic restructuring initiatives across sectors including real estate, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. His leadership has been instrumental in driving sustainable returns and long-term value creation.

In addition to his executive roles, he has served on the boards of several prominent companies and institutions, helping to shape strategy and strengthen governance. His board experience includes positions at Savola Group, Panda Retail, National Medical Care Co., Maarif for Education, Osool Real Estate, Jabal Omar Development Co., and Arab National Bank.

Before his tenure at Hassana, Mr. Al-Qahtani held senior roles at HSBC Saudi Arabia as a portfolio manager for public equity strategies, at NCB Capital as an equity analyst covering diverse industries, and at PwC in transaction services, where he advised on IPO feasibility and M&A deals. The appointment reflects OSUS Group’s ambition to accelerate its growth and reinforce its position as one of Saudi Arabia’s leading development groups.
