Aimtron Electronics signs MoU with Vanix Technologies to manufacture 50,000 IIoT and AI devices

Aimtron Electronics Ltd, an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company, has announced that it has received an order for 50,000 Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and AI devices from Vanix Technologies under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in December 2024. Over the next five years, Aimtron will manufacture between 250,000 and 2 million IoT devices, supporting India’s electronics self-reliance and accelerating the adoption of smart manufacturing solutions.

Founded in 2011, Aimtron Electronics provides EMS, PCB assembly, box-build, and design services. With facilities in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru, and a parent company headquartered in Chicago, USA, Aimtron serves customers across the automotive, medtech, aerospace, industrial, power, gaming, IoT and robotics sectors.

This initial order will strengthen Aimtron’s growth pipeline and is expected to create more new job opportunities as the company scales up production to meet delivery timelines. Production of the first batch will begin in October 2025 and is expected to be completed before the end of the year 2025.

India’s IIoT market is projected to reach $7.12 billion in 2025, with significant growth continuing at a CAGR of 21.18 per cent from 2025-2029, reaching $15.35 billion by 2029. Aimtron Electronics has been expanding its footprint in the domestic and international markets with its ESDM solutions, ranging from circuit design to complete system assembly.
