Air India and AVIS India Launch Chauffeur Services Across 17 Major Cities, ETAuto

Under the arrangement, customers can book cars from a range that includes sedans and SUVs.Air India on Monday said it has entered into a partnership with mobility provider AVIS India to allow passengers to book chauffeur-driven cars across 17 cities at discounted rates.

According to the official press release, the service will cover locations including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Jaipur. Passengers will be able to use the service for airport transfers, intra-city travel and inter-city journeys.

“This partnership with AVIS India underscores our commitment to offering premium travel experiences to our guests at every touchpoint,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India. “With AVIS India, our guests have safe, comfortable and premium ground transportation options that complement Air India’s world-class service standards on ground or in the air.” he added.

Car booking options

Under the arrangement, customers can book cars from a range that includes sedans and SUVs. The vehicles come with insurance, permits and are operated by drivers trained by AVIS India. The company also provides a round-the-clock contact centre.

“AVIS India has consistently delivered mobility solutions to its customers. Partnering with Air India enables us to extend this service promise to a broader audience, ensuring their travel is comfortable, reliable, and stress-free at every stage of the journey,” said Aman Naagar, Managing Director, AVIS India.

Passengers can access the service through a dedicated booking page using a promotional code to unlock discounts of up to 20 per cent.
