Air India and Zomato join hands to offer loyalty rewards across food and travel

Air India, India’s leading global airline, and Zomato, the country’s top food delivery platform, have announced a new partnership that integrates Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty programme with Zomato’s app ecosystem. The collaboration, effective immediately, allows users to earn loyalty rewards on food delivery while unlocking exclusive travel perks.

Under the partnership, Zomato users can earn 2% Maharaja Points on all food orders above ₹499 placed on the platform. New members enrolling in the Maharaja Club through the Zomato app will also receive a welcome bonus of 2,000 Maharaja Points after completing their first Air India flight activity. In addition, one lucky member each day will win a complimentary one-way Economy Class ticket voucher, valid for booking and travel within six months.

Sunil Suresh, Head of Marketing, Loyalty & E-commerce at Air India, said the initiative strengthens the value proposition of the Maharaja Club: “This partnership brings together travel and food, two subjects central to everyday lives, and aligns with our vision of building one of the most rewarding loyalty programmes across industries.”

Rahul Gupta, VP at Zomato, added: “With this partnership, customers can now earn Air India Maharaja points when they order food on Zomato. It’s a simple idea that makes our product more rewarding — and will now take you places, literally.”

Air India, a member of Star Alliance, has expanded its Maharaja Club portfolio by partnering with over 50 brands in recent years, offering enhanced lifestyle and travel rewards.
