When Apple takes the stage on September 9 for its much-hyped “Awe-dropping” event, the spotlight will naturally fall on the iPhone 17 series with its rumoured design overhaul and improved cameras. But that’s not all Apple fans should be watching for. According to multiple reports, the tech giant could also reveal the next-generation AirPods Pro 3, the first major update to its premium earbuds in three years, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming AirPods Pro 3.
AirPods Pro 3: Design Upgrades and New Features
Reports suggest the AirPods Pro 3 will likely retain the familiar look of the AirPods Pro 2. Instead, Apple seems to have poured its energy into internal upgrades, and this is where things get interesting. Leaks hint at three new features: a heart rate monitor, a temperature sensor, and live translation support. These aren’t just audio add-ons, they expand the earbuds’ role into health and productivity tools, integrating Apple’s ecosystem more deeply into everyday life.
That said, not everything might be ready at launch. As reported by 9to5Mac, the live translation feature may still be in development and could roll out later through a software update. The heart rate and temperature sensors, however, are expected to work right out of the box, potentially giving Apple a competitive edge over rivals that have yet to bring such functions into earbuds.
AirPods Pro 3: Price In India (Expected)
The current AirPods Pro 2 retail for Rs 24,900 in India. With the new health-focused sensors and likely hardware improvements, the AirPods Pro 3 are expected to cost a bit more, with early estimates pointing towards a price of around Rs 29,999.
